A crate is a good item to use to train your new puppy to sleep through the night. Since it is the dog’s natural tendency not to soil his den, having a crate of proper size can help you train your new puppy.
When puppies are eight weeks old, they should pick up the routine of night and day and the sleeping schedule of the household. By the age of twelve weeks, they are capable of sleeping through the night. Most breeders do not let their puppies go to their new homes until they are twelve weeks old. As a result, you will need to have your puppy get acclimated to their new home before you start the training. The puppy’s last meal should be at least three hours before bedtime. But do not let them drink close to bedtime. Take your puppy outside before bedtime in order to potty. This will encourage your dog to make it through the night.
What do you think of this crate to help your puppy sleep through the night?
What I like about the crate is that it is near the family. This could be comforting to your new pet. It looks warm and comfortable. If you watch TV, this crate may help sooth your companion. Most of all, I like it being part of the decor and the feeling of open space for the puppy.
I am not crazy about the brown bar-like design, but I guess that fits in with the rustic structure of the floor and bed. It does not coordinate with the black and orange. The steps up to the bed seem like an invitation to your puppy to venture onto the bed and fall off.
